In short
Kore.ai's Artemis, launched in May 2026, is a closed enterprise agent platform for customer and employee experience: voice and digital agents, long-running workflows and process automation, defined in its proprietary Agent Blueprint Language through visual and code authoring, deployable on public cloud, sovereign regions, private cloud or on-premises, with custom pricing. Dynamiq runs chat, voice and workflow agents on one engine, with an open-source Python SDK and forward-deployed engineers who hand the work over to your team. Enterprises that want a vertical-tuned CX and EX suite with outbound voice and contact-center connectors fit Kore.ai; teams that want an open-source engine they can read and a named deployment engagement fit Dynamiq.
Side by side
Facts checked September 29, 2026. Sources below.
- Best for
DynamiqEnterprises in regulated industries that need chat, voice and workflow agents on one governed stack, deployed inside their own environment.
Kore.aiEnterprises, especially in banking, wealth management, insurance, healthcare, retail, telecom and travel, that want a vertical-tuned platform for customer experience and employee experience agents; Kore.ai cites more than 500 Global 2000 organizations.
- Deployment options
DynamiqDynamiq Cloud, or self-hosted on your AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, Red Hat OpenShift or any Kubernetes 1.32+ cluster, or on-prem. Fully isolated or air-gapped setups are delivered with our engineers.
Kore.aiPublic cloud (multi-tenant SaaS), sovereign regions, private cloud (a dedicated single-tenant VPC) or on-premises, with data residency by region; its docs name Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and AWS, and it is listed on the Azure and AWS marketplaces.
- Self-hosted or on-prem
DynamiqYes. Self-hosted on your cloud or on-prem, or Dynamiq Cloud; both run the same engine.
Kore.aiYes. On-premises deployment is offered for organizations that require it, per Kore.ai's trust center and docs.
- License and source code
DynamiqThe Python SDK is open source under Apache-2.0 (github.com/dynamiq-ai/dynamiq), and the visual canvas runs on the same engine. The platform around it is not open source.
Kore.aiClosed platform. Agents are defined in Kore.ai's Agent Blueprint Language (ABL), a typed, schema-driven language; its public GitHub repositories hold client SDKs, not platform source.
- Model choice
Dynamiq29 model providers in the SDK, the most-used models behind one OpenAI-compatible AI Gateway endpoint, plus open models served on vLLM and LoRA fine-tuning.
Kore.aiProviders on its supported models page include OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Foundry, Google, AWS Bedrock, Mistral, Cohere and xAI, plus custom or self-hosted endpoints and fine-tuned models, with per-agent model overrides.
- Agent types (chat, voice, workflow)
DynamiqChat, inbound voice and workflow agents on one engine. AI Coworker works with its own cloud sandbox computer, in the browser, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Telegram; Voice Agents answer inbound calls; Agent Builder runs workflow agents.
Kore.aiVoice and digital agents for customer experience, employee experience agents for HR, IT and recruiting, and long-running workflows with human-in-the-loop steps, approval gates and durable execution, across web, voice, messaging, email, Microsoft Teams and API channels.
- Voice
DynamiqInbound calls only, over WebRTC, SIP and WebSocket, with per-turn latency measurement and simulations scored by an LLM judge.
Kore.aiInbound and outbound calls (outbound added in September 2026), realtime speech models from several providers, connectors for contact centers such as Genesys, NICE CXone, Five9, Talkdesk and Amazon Connect, and automated quality reviews on every call.
- Developer surface
DynamiqAgent Builder pairs a visual canvas with the open-source Python SDK on one engine, with Choice and rules nodes, workflows generated from a prompt, and versions with rollback.
Kore.aiVisual and code authoring of ABL in one workspace, an AI architect (Arch) that drafts ABL from business goals, a CLI, an MCP server that lets coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex author agents, Git sync, REST APIs and a Web SDK for embedding. No open-source, general-purpose SDK.
- Governance (guardrails, approvals, SSO)
DynamiqGuardrails that detect PII and prompt injection, policy detection, validators and approvals with editable fields on any tool step, on every plan; SSO (OIDC with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID) on Enterprise.
Kore.aiReal-time PII tokenization so models never receive plaintext PII, input guardrails, policies enforced outside the LLM, tenant isolation, immutable audit trails, SSO over SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect on its Enterprise plan, custom roles, human-in-the-loop steps and bring-your-own-key encryption.
- Evals and observability
DynamiqEvals with datasets built from traces, LLM-as-a-judge, predefined and code metrics, and real-time evaluations on live deployments; traces with cost and latency per node, monitoring, and an AI agent that surfaces issues from production traces.
Kore.aiEvaluations built from scenarios, personas and variations with an LLM judge, which can run on a schedule; traces of every agent run across reasoning, tools, guardrails and handoffs; and Agent Insights that tie agent performance to cost and outcomes.
- Integrations
Dynamiq2,100+ app integrations and 11,800+ actions, plus MCP servers and per-user connections.
Kore.ai300+ integrations and 40+ voice and digital channels, per its Artemis announcement (its docs count 27 channels), plus MCP tools and a Kore.ai Marketplace of prebuilt agents, templates and integrations.
- Compliance
DynamiqSOC 2 and CASA Tier 2, with a BAA for HIPAA workloads and a DPA under GDPR.
Kore.aiSOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA, the EU AI Act and DESC on its trust center; its Artemis announcement adds FedRAMP Moderate authorization, HITRUST and HIPAA alignment.
- Delivery help (engineers)
DynamiqForward-deployed engineers run a bootcamp in your environment, ship the first production agent with your team, then hand over.
Kore.aiNo named engineering engagement is published; Kore.ai offers customer success, an Academy and systems integrator partners.
- Pricing model
DynamiqFree to start ($0), and Enterprise with custom pricing. Available on AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Azure Marketplace and IBM Marketplace.
Kore.aiCustom pricing by quote, through a sales conversation or an RFP; self-serve account sign-up exists, but no price list is published.
Choose Dynamiq when
- The agent engine is an open-source Python SDK under Apache-2.0, so agents are defined in Python you can read, audit and fork, not in a vendor-specific language.
- One engine for chat, voice and workflow agents, with guardrails, approvals, evals and observability built in from the start.
- Runs inside your environment: Dynamiq Cloud, or self-hosted on your AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, OpenShift or any Kubernetes 1.32+ cluster, or on-prem, with isolated setups delivered with our engineers.
- Forward-deployed engineers ship the first production agent with your team, then hand over. Your team keeps the code and the environment.
Choose Kore.ai when
- A vertical-tuned CX and EX suite with a long track record in banking, insurance, healthcare, retail and telecom.
- Outbound voice campaigns and ready connectors into contact centers such as Genesys, NICE CXone, Five9, Talkdesk and Amazon Connect.
- A long published certification list, including FedRAMP Moderate authorization and DESC, useful when a vendor review needs it today.
Moving from Kore.ai
Agents and flows defined in Kore.ai's Agent Blueprint Language are rebuilt as agents and workflows in Dynamiq's Agent Builder, on the canvas or in the Python SDK; project exports from Kore.ai's API are a useful reference, but ABL is a Kore.ai language, so agents are rebuilt rather than imported. Integrations and MCP tools reconnect as Dynamiq integrations or MCP servers, knowledge sources are re-ingested into Dynamiq Knowledge, and inbound voice flows move to Dynamiq Voice Agents. Outbound campaigns have no direct equivalent, because Dynamiq voice agents are inbound only.
Questions and answers
Is Dynamiq open source, unlike Kore.ai's platform?
Dynamiq's Python SDK is open source under Apache-2.0 on GitHub (github.com/dynamiq-ai/dynamiq); the Dynamiq platform around it is not. Kore.ai's Artemis platform is closed, with agents defined in its Agent Blueprint Language; its public GitHub repositories hold client SDKs.
Can both Dynamiq and Kore.ai run on premises?
Yes for both. Dynamiq self-hosts on your AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, OpenShift or any Kubernetes 1.32+ cluster, or on-prem. Kore.ai states Artemis can deploy on public cloud, sovereign regions, private cloud or on-premises.
Does Kore.ai support outbound calls?
Yes. Kore.ai added outbound calling for voice agents in September 2026, per its release notes. Dynamiq Voice Agents handle inbound calls only.
Does Kore.ai publish pricing?
No. Kore.ai's site routes buyers to a sales conversation or an RFP and offers self-serve sign-up, without a price list. Dynamiq publishes a free plan to start and custom Enterprise pricing.
Does Dynamiq offer the same breadth of prebuilt integrations as Kore.ai?
Dynamiq connects to 2,100+ app integrations plus MCP servers; Kore.ai states 300+ integrations and 40+ channels in its Artemis announcement. Both figures come from each vendor's own materials.
