Agent sandbox
An agent sandbox gives an agent a real, isolated computer instead of only text in and text out. Inside it, the agent can install packages, write and run scripts, produce file artifacts such as spreadsheets or charts, and even start a web server to preview what it built. The machine is provisioned only when the agent needs it and is disposed of afterward.
Running arbitrary, model-generated code is inherently risky, and a regulated enterprise cannot let that code touch the systems that hold customer data or run production workloads. A sandbox contains that risk in a disposable machine with no path back into the systems that matter.
A research agent writes a script to analyze a spreadsheet and produce a chart, running the script inside the sandbox and returning only the finished chart, never touching the company's internal network.
In Dynamiq, the sandbox is backed by E2B or Daytona, provisioned per run in your own provider account and isolated from Dynamiq's infrastructure and from every other run. It adds shell, file and preview tools to the agent automatically, environment variables passed to it are excluded from traces, and it is mutually exclusive with the lighter file store, since the sandbox already provides its own filesystem.
