In short

Langdock is a closed platform for rolling out AI across an organization, with chat, agents, workflows, integrations and an API, hosted on Microsoft Azure in the EU by default, with single-tenant, bring-your-own-cloud and on-premises options from 2,000 or 5,000 Enterprise seats. Dynamiq is a governed platform for chat, voice and workflow agents with an Apache-2.0 open-source SDK, self-hosted on any cloud or on-prem, and forward-deployed engineers. Organizations rolling AI out to a whole workforce under EU hosting fit Langdock; teams that want voice agents, an open-source engine or engineers who ship agents with them fit Dynamiq.

## Side by side

Facts checked September 29, 2026. Sources below.

| Dimension | Dynamiq | Langdock |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Best for | Enterprises in regulated industries that need chat, voice and workflow agents on one governed stack, deployed inside their own environment. | Organizations that want to roll AI out across their whole workforce, with chat, agents and workflows hosted in Europe, per Langdock's own positioning. |
| Deployment options | Dynamiq Cloud, or self-hosted on your AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, Red Hat OpenShift or any Kubernetes 1.32+ cluster, or on-prem. Fully isolated or air-gapped setups are delivered with our engineers. | Multi-tenant SaaS on Microsoft Azure servers inside the EU, single-tenant SaaS from 2,000 Enterprise seats, and bring-your-own-cloud or on-premises through Kubernetes and Helm charts from 5,000 seats, per its security page. |
| Self-hosted or on-prem | Yes. Self-hosted on your cloud or on-prem, or Dynamiq Cloud; both run the same engine. | Yes, on higher Enterprise tiers: bring-your-own-cloud and on-premises Kubernetes deployment each start at 5,000 seats, per its security page. |
| License and source code | The Python SDK is open source under Apache-2.0 (github.com/dynamiq-ai/dynamiq), and the visual canvas runs on the same engine. The platform around it is not open source. | Closed platform; Langdock's public GitHub holds an MIT-licensed cookbook of examples, not platform code. |
| Model choice | 29 model providers in the SDK, the most-used models behind one OpenAI-compatible AI Gateway endpoint, plus open models served on vLLM and LoRA fine-tuning. | Model-agnostic chat and one API across models from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Meta and DeepSeek, with bring-your-own-key options; new models usually reach the EU a few weeks after the US. |
| Agent types (chat, voice, workflow) | Chat, inbound voice and workflow agents on one engine. AI Coworker works with its own cloud sandbox computer, in the browser, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Telegram; Voice Agents answer inbound calls; Agent Builder runs workflow agents. | Chat, agents with subagents, and workflows that are agentic or fully deterministic; a workflow node transcribes audio into text, but no voice agent product is offered. |
| Developer surface | Agent Builder pairs a visual canvas with the open-source Python SDK on one engine, with Choice and rules nodes, workflows generated from a prompt, and versions with rollback. | A no-code builder for agents and workflows with a code node, APIs for completions, agents, workflows, knowledge and audit logs, MCP as client and server, A2A, and apps in Slack, Teams, Excel, Outlook and a desktop app. |
| Governance (guardrails, approvals, SSO) | Guardrails that detect PII and prompt injection, policy detection, validators and approvals with editable fields on any tool step, on every plan; SSO (OIDC with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID) on Enterprise. | SSO, SAML and SCIM on its Business plan, audit logs, a Guardrails workflow node that detects PII, jailbreaks and hallucinations, human-in-the-loop approvals in workflows, and a Governance add-on for agent review and compliance rules; customer data is never used to train models, per its security page. |

| Compliance | SOC 2 and CASA Tier 2, with a BAA for HIPAA workloads and a DPA under GDPR. | ISO 27001, a SOC 2 audit and GDPR alignment, per its security page; HIPAA is not mentioned there. |
| Delivery help (engineers) | Forward-deployed engineers run a bootcamp in your environment, ship the first production agent with your team, then hand over. | Enterprise includes a dedicated technical implementation team, enablement sessions and a remote or on-site kickoff workshop, per Langdock's enterprise page. |
| Pricing model | Free to start ($0), and Enterprise with custom pricing. Available on AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Azure Marketplace and IBM Marketplace. | A 7-day free trial, then seats at 25 euro (Standard) or 99 euro (Business Max) a user a month for up to 1,000 users and custom Enterprise above that; Workflows packages, a Governance add-on (free until 2027, then 3.50 euro a user a month), and API usage billed per model by tokens, per Langdock's pricing page. |

## Choose Dynamiq when

- The agent engine is an open-source Python SDK under Apache-2.0, so the code your agents run on is yours to read, audit and fork.
- Voice Agents answer inbound calls on the same engine as chat and workflow agents.
- Runs inside your environment: Dynamiq Cloud, or self-hosted on your AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, OpenShift or any Kubernetes 1.32+ cluster, or on-prem, including EU regions and data centers you control.
- Forward-deployed engineers ship the first production agent with your team, then hand over. Your team keeps the code and the environment.

## Choose Langdock when

- A platform built around EU hosting by default, from a European company, for organizations whose policy requires it.
- Ready-made chat, agents, workflows and office add-ins for rolling AI out to an entire non-technical workforce quickly.
- A stated policy that customer data is never used to train AI models, and a Governance add-on with compliance rule templates for the EU AI Act and GDPR.

## Moving from Langdock

Agents and workflows built in Langdock can be read through its Agents and Workflows APIs, including instructions, models, actions, knowledge folders and workflow graphs, which gives a blueprint for rebuilding them in Dynamiq's Agent Builder, on the canvas or in the Python SDK. Integrations reconnect as Dynamiq integrations or MCP servers, knowledge folders are re-ingested into Dynamiq Knowledge, and Guardrails and human-in-the-loop nodes become Dynamiq guardrails and approvals.

## Questions and answers
